Ordinarily, MySweeper displays hints based upon one-level rules -- that is, hints are given based upon flagged or exposed cells only. When the Clues|Transitive menu item is checked, MySweeper displays hints based upon previous hints as well as flagged or exposed cells. With this feature enabled, you can tell at a glance whether or not a game is completely solvable from the current position (limited by the rules about which MySweeper knows).
